WHY ARE WE CALLED LIFE DEMONSTRATION CHURCH – Tulsa Church?

We are often asked why the name of our church is Life Demonstration. The reason for the name is found in our vision. The Vision of our church is that you would KNOW and DEM•ON•STRATE the works of Jesus Christ and greater. This comes from John 14:12, I can guarantee this truth: Those who believe in me will do the things that I am doing. They will do even greater things because I am going to the Father. 

What We Believe as your Tulsa Church 

THE TRINITY
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. God exists in three persons: God our Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (I John5:7; John 1:14)

SALVATION
Life in Christ begins when we acknowledge Jesus as our Savior. From that moment eternal life has begun. (Romans 5:12-21 II Corinthians 5:17-21; Romans 10:9-10)
Receiving Jesus is more than a ticket to Heaven. It is a guarantee to living in His goodness everyday. You really can have Heaven on Earth!

SPIRIT FILLED LIVING
We believe there are many evidences of a Spirit filled life. The greatest evidence comes not from living this life out of our own strength or wisdom but by His Spirit. By-products of a Spirit filled life include speaking in tongues and walking in the fruits and gifts of the Spirit. (Zech 4:6; John 15:4-5; Matthew 28:19; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4)

HEALING
We believe it’s God will for us to walk in divine health and healing. All health and healing is an intricate part of the gospel and is provided for all believers. (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-19 James 5:14-15; III John 2:1)
Not only in your body, but every area of your life (emotional, financial, relational…) wholeness has been provided.

SERVING
Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve. A life that is focused on helping others is truly the richest life! We pour out to others out of what has been poured into us.(I Timothy 6:11-13; Philippians 4:13; John 4:20-23; I Corinthians 12; Ephesians 2:10; Matthew 20:28)

FELLOWSHIP
Fulfilling the Great Commission will only come from a Body that is united. The church is meant to be a place of encouragement and inspiration, refuge and restoration. More than an organization it is a family. You will find that here at LDC, your Tulsa church.

ETERNITY
We believe that our eternal destination is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. (Revelation 20:10-15, I Timothy 2:3-4; II Thessalonians 1:7)
Eternal life starts the moment you accept Jesus. You are now part of the family of God that will live forever in Heaven.

FUTURE
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again, as He has promised. (I Corinthians 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4:16)

To completely comprehend the vision you need to go back to the meaning. According to Webster’s Dictionary to demonstrate is to show the existence or truth of by evidence. We trust that all believers are the walking, talking evidence that Jesus is alive. To demonstrate is to show the world the love of God through your movements and to be evidence of the truth. We want to be your Tulsa Church.

OUR VISION
THAT YOU WOULD KNOW and DEMONSTRATE JESUS
Our vision is that you would RECOGNIZE Jesus by and by and that you would understand His unhindered love for you and live in it. His desire is for you to triumph in each section of life as well as your connections, your monies and your health.

Our vision is that you would DEM•ON•STRATE Jesus. Much the same as breathing you can give Him a chance to live out of you and show in useful ways the affection for Jesus you have come to know for yourself.

GOD’S AFFECTION TOWARDS YOU
I will never stop loving you nor will I ever break My promises. I will not violate the contract that was sealed in Jesus’ blood, and I will never change my mind. So put your faith and trust in Me, and you will never be disappointed; for I am faithful to My Word. (Psalms 89:33-34, Hebrews 10:23)
When you are confused, wondering which way to go, remember that I have a plan for your life. Put your trust in Me and I will show you the way to go. I will bring my plans for you to pass – and I will complete them! (See Psalms 57:2 AMP)
I created you in your mother’s womb. I was there, as your body was being formed. I wrote down My plan for your life before you took your first breath. Oh, My child, how I desire that you would follow the plan that I created for you. See Psalms 139: 13,15,16

SUPERKIDS – Tulsa Church Kids Ministry
Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings are full with enjoyableness AND Jesus! SuperKids is for 3yrs-fifth grade and our nursery is open for babies ages 0-2yrs. Ask any of our Tulsa church kids and they will tell to you how fun it is! Your Tulsa Church – we love kids!

THE three INGREDIENTS THAT MAKE SUPERKIDS EXCEPTIONAL
Our SuperKids Teaching Team has more than 35 years of joined involvement in youngsters service and driving kiddos to Jesus. Our group composes our educational modules so our children are getting an indistinguishable gauge of instructing from the grown-ups do in enormous church.

Second, it takes submitted and minding individuals to give of their opportunity and ability, trusting that our children merit the absolute best. That is exactly what we have here at LDC with our organizers, lead instructors, and youth group partners. They make every week significant and paramount.
