We are often asked why the name of our church is Life Demonstration. The reason for the name is found in our vision. The Vision of our church is that you would KNOW and DEM•ON•STRATE the works of Jesus Christ and greater. This comes from John 14:12.
To fully understand the vision you need to go back to the definition. According to Webster’s Dictionary to demonstrate is to show the existence or truth of by evidence. We believe that all believers are the walking, talking evidence that Jesus is alive. To demonstrate is to show the world the love of God through your actions and to be evidence of the truth.
Our vision is that you would KNOW Jesus personally and that you would understand His unconditional love for you and live in it. His desire is for you to succeed in every area of life including your relationships, your finances and your health.
Our vision is that you would DEM•ON•STRATE Jesus. Just like breathing you can let Him live out of you and show in practical ways the love of Jesus you have come to know for yourself.
We uphold our faith in a single, timeless God, the Creator of all things, who exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (See I John 5:7 and John 1:14)
Life within Christ commences when we recognize Jesus as our Savior. From that moment, everlasting life takes root. (Refer to Romans 5:12-21, II Corinthians 5:17-21, and Romans 10:9-10)
Receiving Jesus means much more than a mere passageway to Heaven. It signifies a pledge to reside in His benevolence each day. You can genuinely experience the bliss of Heaven on Earth!
We maintain that a Spirit-filled existence manifests through various indicators. The most profound evidence is not found in self-reliance or wisdom but in reliance on His Spirit.
The byproducts of a Spirit-filled life encompass speaking in tongues and living in alignment with the attributes and abilities bestowed by the Holy Spirit. (See Zechariah 4:6, John 15:4-5, Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8, and Acts 2:4)
We firmly believe it is God’s intent for us to walk in divine health and healing. The entirety of health and restoration is an integral aspect of the Gospel and is within reach for all believers. (Refer to Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-19, James 5:14-15, and III John 2:1)
This healing extends not only to the physical body but also to every facet of your life, be it emotional, financial, or relational. Wholeness has been provided.
Jesus did not come to be served but to serve. A life dedicated to assisting others is truly a life of abundance. We pour out to others from the abundance that has been poured into us. (See I Timothy 6:11-13, Philippians 4:13, John 4:20-23, I Corinthians 12, Ephesians 2:10, and Matthew 20:28)
The ultimate realization of the Great Commission can only be achieved by a united Body. The church serves as a place of mutual support, motivation, refuge, and restoration. More than an institution, it is a family. You will find this sense of belonging here at LDC.
We assert that our eternal destiny is shaped by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. (See Revelation 20:10-15, I Timothy 2:3-4, and II Thessalonians 1:7)
Eternal life commences the very moment you embrace Jesus. You become a cherished member of God’s family, destined to live eternally in Heaven.
We hold firm to the belief that the Lord Jesus Christ will fulfill His promise to return. (See I Corinthians 15:51-52 and I Thessalonians 4:16)
Life Demonstration Church was founded on the vision that EVERYONE can know Him, and out of that knowledge, they can then demonstrate His life in their world. There are no big “I’s” and little “you’s”, we ALL are given the same opportunities and abilities in Him. This message is more than just a vision, it’s a way of life! This is what our staff is passionate about!
