The Spirit of Truth will correct. Correction is never fun, but it always celebrates later. Truth celebrates the outcome. A truthful outcome always brings a satisfied life. A satisfied life brings joy, happiness, and kindness to others. A satisfied life in God will have a life of correction, encouragement, and direction. When we speak the truth of love it goes out of you and into the innermost part of the hearer. They may not like it at first, but the result will be joyful.
