I’m at the shop today and wanted to send a quick recap before my day began. We passed out cards for everyone on Sunday night. Here’s what it said:

There were 5 things at the start of my journey with God that really made a difference for me.

1. Making a Commitment
2. Changing my Focus
3. Learning to Trust God
4. Letting Go of Worry
5. The Past Doesn’t Matter

We also talked about speaking life. Here are some other verses we discussed. Speak these verses over your situations and put your name in it! We will only accept what God has to say about your situation!

• Ephesians 1:15-19,
• Colossians 2:7
• Colossians 2:10
• Colossians 3: 1-4

Here’s what you would say-
I am becoming more like Christ everyday. The more I learn and experience Jesus the more I
– act like Him
-talk like Him
-respond like Him.

Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. I look to God, not to (husband/job/friend). I live in the reality of who I really am. A daughter, loved, cared for and provided for by my Father, my first true love.
Christ is my life. He is more real to me than what I sees everyday. He makes more sense to me than anyone/anything else in the world. I reflect the love and glory of my Father.

Make me intelligent and discerning in knowing the Father personally and intimately,
that my eyes focused and clear,
that I can see exactly what it is he is calling me to do,
and that grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for me
and that I see the utter extravagance of his work in me—endless energy, boundless strength!”

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT FOR NEXT WEEK
When was God there and you didn’t see Him?

There are plenty of times in my life where I thought that the circumstances I was currently in couldn’t possibly be what God had for me, but looking back, I can see His hand in everything.

Just a reminder that we won’t meet this Sunday because we all have a Super Bowl party to go to!  See on Sunday February 12th!
