Ladies Night Recap, Week 1

Ladies Night Recap, Week 1

I shared my raw testimony of where my life and family were headed before I decided to give God an opportunity to work in my life. I allowed God to change me and my perspective on life.

One of my favorite books is In Season and I encourage everyone I know to get a copy!

The people in my life were instrumental to the change that God had for me. What type of friends are you spending time with? What are your friend giving back to you? Are their comments to you rooted in the Word, encouraging, and reminding you of who you are in Christ?

We touch on our perspective as well. Your perspective is huge in how you live your life, how you see your circumstances, and the way you see yourself. A negative perspective cast a negative light on everything, but a positive one will give you energy, excitement and joy that you need for everyday life.

Things To Think About For Next Week

Who are you, where are you and what do you want?

What I really what you to get from this is to learn how to be honest with yourself. This is not what you think other people want to hear about your or what you want to be, but right now- in this moment- who are you, where are you and what do you want?

You matter.
You are a child of the King.
The past doesn’t matter.
Take ownership of who you really are.

Get ready to talk next week about what God has been revealing to you as you take some time to think through those questions. Come with suggestions as to what you’d like to cover in the coming weeks and we’ll go get the opportunity to go deeper and further in our relationship with Him.

Philippians 3:13-14 MSG
“I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.

So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.”

Book Recommendations:

I love music! I’ll include a link to a song every week for you as well!
