One year ago today (May 21st) Bryan went into the hospital for the first time.Tonight we beat the boys at badminton, something he could not do a year ago. Thank you LDC for everything you did during that time!

I just need to share a praise God moment: A couple of days ago, I was driving and my van put itself in park and wouldn’t start again for a few minutes. Once I saw it was acting up, I was able to get in a turn lane. It stopped and wouldn’t start for maybe less than a minute. I was able to get it started and back home. I was maybe 3 minutes away. We took it to the dealer and the tech hooked it up to some kind of machine to it. He could find 0 evidence of what I told him about. However, he said, “we did find evidence of a possible oil leak. Since your warranty ends next month (we didn’t remember that) we should fix it now”. The tech just called and said, “we still see no evidence of what happened. But, we have done about $2000 worth of repairs that will cost you $200 because of your warranty “. The same warranty that we forgot ends in June! God did that! If it hadn’t acted up, we would have taken it in eventually and found out our warranty was done!

Faithfulness

We just bought a new office building for our company. The inspections were super smooth and God helped us feel assured of our decision by leading us to talk with the current tenants, and hear how great the owners are to work with. The previous owner has been so kind during the transition.

Healing

Had a mammogram and was told I needed another mammogram and ultrasound because they found “something” and wasn’t sure what it was. I prayed, Thanked and Praised The Lord. Bottom line, had my appointment, and that “something” that was there…was now clear. No spot. In fact, I didn’t even need an ultrasound! Praise The Lord!!!!

I had gone into Oklahoma City for surgery and had to stay in a hotel for five days, since they were placing a plaque in my eye, and it had to stay put. OU medical had booked me with Hampton Suites close to the medical facility, but when I got there, I realized it was top dollar for a small single room. At first, I was like….I can get a nicer hotel on Hotwire for less, so I’ll just book that instead. I was already frazzled from having to get ready for an intense surgery, and on top of that, hopscotching hotels. Suddenly, I decided to put it before God, remembering that he took care of stuff like this for me. My dear friend Gladys was accompanying and taking care of me the first two days, and she had a friend in the hotel business. She was simply connecting with him since they were both in OKC. When he heard what was going on, he stated “Hampton Suites…that’s my hotel!”
So out of all the hotels, ALL the hotels in OKC, he happened to work at the one connected to OU Medical, where I had already had a reservation. He changed the reservation to a two room suite (with the staff bringing us snacks every day during the Covid shutdown) for $45/night. This was just a healthy reminder of God’s presence in the middle of what could have been an extremely stressful situation. God is SO good
