The 3 Ingredients that Make SuperKids Special

  1. First, Pastor Mary, our Children’s Pastor, has a degree and background in eduction as well as 35 years of children’s ministry experience. She’s written our curriculum so our kids are getting the same caliber of teaching as the adults do in big church.
  2. Second, It takes committed and caring people to give of their time and talent, believing that our kids deserve the very best. That’s just what we have here at LDC with our coordinators, lead teachers, and youth team assistants. They make each week meaningful and memorable.
  3. Third, It’s got to be FUN!!! We continually strive to keep thing fresh and new. From music to puppets & skits, snacks, lesson props, a treasure chest, games, activities, crafts and more! Our SuperKids motto: “It’s a sin to bore kids with the Gospel”

What to Expect at SuperKids

What you can expect on Sundays: Your kids will sit with you in big church during Praise & Worship and then be dismissed to their SuperKids Class. Our SuperKids workers will walk the kids down to their class where videos and music will be playing, then start with a special welcome time for visitors. They’ll have their own worship session, a puppet show or a skit with snacks, an interactive lesson, and games & activities that reinforce the message. We encourage them to bring their own bible and offering (that means more points for the Gospel Girls or Bible Boys)! The Gospel Girls and Bible Boys compete each week for a special prize at the end of service.
